After almost two years I've picked up my tools and tried to do something about the airplane.
I final drilled new VS-1013, deburred it and shaped so that it will fit the VS. I almost went to rivet the whole thing, but realized that when I drilled out old one, I've made holes in inspar too large for designed rivets.
I will wait for Vans answer about what size to drill and which rivets to use. Maybe I can drill two new holes of correct size, but that may lower the stength of the whole part... Better wait for Vans.
While waiting for answer I primed it too!
Vans said it was acceptable to use 5/32 rivets and drill #21.
